.NET MF 4.1 is no longer supported by Microsoft - please switch to the latest version!

.NET Micro Framework 4.1

The .NET Micro Framework team has released version 4.1 (4.1.2821.0) with QFE1 on August 24th, 2010

We are happy to offer you binaries you can test on your AUG AMI DevKit.

Please read carefully whatever documentation you can get on the .NET MF 4.1 and read the install notes below!

You cannot install the .NET MF 3.0 / 4.0 / 4.1 side by side. Set up a different PC (or VM) for 4.1 only!

Prerequisites are new for 4.1: VS 2010 only!

Download the Microsoft .NET Micro Framework SDK 4.1 (4.1.2821.0) from the Microsoft download site and install it.

Download and install AUG AMI SDK 41. There is a custom AUG AMI DevKit 4.1 emulator contained in the package as well. If you like, download our Samples and/or Tests ZIP-files that have been reworked for the 4.1 release and Visual Studio 2010.

Download and install Atmel SAM-BA tool. After that download the 4.1 AUGdeploy tool (it will find SAM-BA and remote control it). The easiest way to do so is using AUGdeploy and the corresponding .AUG file. This will enable you to flash your DevKit for 4.1 release binaries (and back to 3.0/4.0 if you so wish).

We have just recently updated our port to the final 4.1 release 4.1.2821.0 QFE1. Feel free to download from the 4.1 menu. Please note that you have to install and use the .NET MF SDK (and PK if needed) with the exact same version number - that is 4.1 QFE1. Our AMI custom emulator also references the version 4.1.2821.0!

Please log in for access to the registered dowloads (SDK, Binaries, ...)!

  • Micro-SD-card must be inserted PRIOR boot (auto mounted during boot)
  • Resistive (precalibrated) touch screen
  • SerialPort, I2C, SPI, GPIO, QMatrix
There are several other binaries around that we provide and - of course - we can build a custom binary exactly tailored to your needs!
